Elizabeth Lewis, PT, OCS

Welcome to Lewis Physical Therapy, PLLC, where personalized care is at the heart of our services. As the owner and sole practitioner, I am dedicated to providing one-on-one sessions tailored to your unique needs. My comprehensive approach includes thorough evaluations, hands-on manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, neuromuscular re-education, therapeutic modalities, and valuable education to improve your overall condition, wellness, and fitness.

I primarily treat women, with a focus on issues related to pelvic floor overactivity (such as pain, urgency, urinary retention or constipation) or under-activity, (such as incontinence or prolapse). I also treat men, for post-prostatectomy conditions.

Having obtained board certification as a clinical specialist in women’s health in 2012, and in orthopedics in 2004 and 2014, you can trust in the expertise I bring to every session. I am also certified in pelvic health, cold laser therapy, and instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization, ensuring that you receive the latest and most effective treatments.

At Lewis Physical Therapy, your well-being is our priority, and we look forward to guiding you on your path to improved health and vitality. Contact us today to schedule a consultation.

What Is Pelvic Floor Therapy?

Pelvic floor therapy is physical therapy that targets muscles in the pelvic floor to help treat pain, weakness, and tightness and the symptoms that go along with them. As your pelvic floor therapist, Elizabeth will help you retrain your muscles and gain back control of your body and your life.

Elizabeth offers a wide range of treatment options including soft tissue mobilization, bowel and bladder retraining, internal and external biofeedback, joint mobilization, myofascial release, core integration strategies, and therapeutic exercises for strength, flexibility, and relaxation.

From Lewis Physical Therapy Patients

A… K… | Woburn

I whole-heartedly recommend Elizabeth and her services. She approaches your care with a holistic view, combining a multitude of strategies to find solutions that will work for you. This approach worked well for me. My doctor had only tried to find solutions for my issues via medication. Over the year that I saw Elizabeth she had dozens of strategies for me to try and, even though I have a very challenging case, we saw improvements. She combines her medical training with approaches anchored in a calming, meditative quality. Equally important, Elizabeth is warm and caring. Some might feel uncomfortable or awkward seeking pelvic floor PT but Elizabeth is so good at putting you at ease. I always looked forward to seeing her personally and professionally!

Elizabeth Lewis has a lot of tricks up her sleeve, she’s so knowledgeable about many different treatment methods. And she knows that what works for one patient, may not work for another. Best of all, I felt that she listened to me and that I was an active participant in my therapy.

I have been very happy with results I have had from working with her personally, as well as results for the clients of mine who I’ve referred to her for various issues. She has many years of experience, listens well, and works in a detailed, thoughtful and thorough way. She has that special blend of professionalism and compassion, making her treatments both comfortable and effective.
